Doughnuts


INGREDIENTS:
For the Dough:
  • 125 ml milk
  • 30 g butter
  • 420 g plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small packet of instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • Oil to fry

For the Topping:
  • Butter
  • Chocolate bar
  • Sugar

METHOD OF PREPARATION: 
Doughnuts:
  1. In a utensil, boil the milk and add the butter. Mix well and remove from heat.
  2. In another large bowl, add the flour, yeast, salt, sugar and eggs.
  3. Mix them and add the milk and butter gradually.
  4. Mix well for about 5 minutes until it becomes a soft dough.
  5. Let it rest for about 2 hours in a dry hot place.
  6. After 2 hours, remix the dough and roll it to flatten until its about 1 inch in thickness.
  7. Cut it in circles and make another small hole in the center to form the doughnut.
  8.  Fry it in oil in low heat until it is golden in color.
  9. Keep them aside.
Topping:
  1. Melt the chocolate bar and add the butter. Mix well.
  2. Keep it aside. 
Decoration of Doughnuts:
  1. Take one doughnut and sprinkle some sugar on it. One type is ready.
  2. Take another doughnut and dip it in the chocolate syrup.
  3. Keep repeating the steps until all doughnuts are over.
Your doughnuts are ready. Enjoy these with a good hot cup of tea or coffee in the morning or evening!
