Ingredients for 2 kulfis:
- 6-10 tablespoons of milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Grated Coconut
- Crushed Almonds and Pistachios
- 1-2 strands of saffron
Method:
- In a saucepan, boil enough water to fill 2 plastic cups which will hold your kulfis.
- add the milk, sugar and saffrons.
- Mix well to prevent any lumps.
- add some grated coconut and some pistachios and almonds.
- Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- In the 2 plastic cups sprinkle some grated coconut and pistachios.
- Pour the milk mixture in the cups.
- Add a bamboo stick to both of the cups.
- Let them set for a minimum of 8 hours in the freezer.
- De mould the kulfis and sprinkle with some nuts.
