Gateau Piment ( Dholl and Chilli Snack)


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Dholl also known as Split Peas
  • 3-4 Green chillies chopped finely
  • Some spring onions chopped finely
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Soak the split peas for a minimum of 4 hours.
  • After that, grind it into a semi fine state.
  • Add the chillies, spring onions and salt.
  • Add little bit of water so that it can be formed into small balls.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  • Fry the balls in the pan until golden and crisp.


Enjoy with a hot cup of tea!
