INGREDIENTS:
For the Dough:
- 125 ml milk
- 30 g butter
- 420 g plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 small packet of instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- Oil to fry
For the Topping:
- Butter
- Chocolate bar
- Sugar
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
Doughnuts:
- In a utensil, boil the milk and add the butter. Mix well and remove from heat.
- In another large bowl, add the flour, yeast, salt, sugar and eggs.
- Mix them and add the milk and butter gradually.
- Mix well for about 5 minutes until it becomes a soft dough.
- Let it rest for about 2 hours in a dry hot place.
- After 2 hours, remix the dough and roll it to flatten until its about 1 inch in thickness.
- Cut it in circles and make another small hole in the center to form the doughnut.
- Fry it in oil in low heat until it is golden in color.
- Keep them aside.
- Melt the chocolate bar and add the butter. Mix well.
- Keep it aside.
- Take one doughnut and sprinkle some sugar on it. One type is ready.
- Take another doughnut and dip it in the chocolate syrup.
- Keep repeating the steps until all doughnuts are over.
